Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a self-driven CNC Machinist in Duncan. In this manual machinist role, you will be responsible for operating and trouble-shooting mills and lathe machines. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.

In a CNC Machinist job, you’ll be responsible for :

  • Blueprint reading
  • Editing and Programming
  • Operating Manual mills and lathes
  • Calipers and Micrometers
  • Setting optimal parameters for machining process
  • Selecting the appropriate cutting tools
  • Calculate measurements, dimensions and tolerances
  • Inspect material to ensure it meets quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and adjust the machines speed, tooling and / or cutting style to fix issues

What you’ll need :

  • 3 years prior experience as a CNC Machinist
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Technical and mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of materials
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with machine troubleshooting
  • Experience operating manual mills and lathes

    Pay Rate : $23-$30 depending on experience, with a $2.00 shift differential.
