Bachelor’s degree (must apply and be accepted in one of many graduate programs at Sul Ross State University).

Have previous collegiate basketball experience either playing or coaching. Standard office machines; computer skills.

Preferred :

Additional or other related experience. Knowledge of Synergy Sports Tech, word processing, database, and spreadsheet computer program skills.

Primary Responsibilities :

Summary Function : Sul Ross State University, an NCAA Division II institution located in Alpine, Texas, and a member of the Lonestar Conference, is currently seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistant position in the department of athletics for women’s basketball.Scope : The successful applicant will work closely with the Head Women’s Basketball Coach and Assistant Women’s Basketball coach. In this role, the successful applicant will be working closely with the student-athletes at SRSU. Duties Essential : Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assist in practice and game planning and preparation; assist in recruiting prospective student-athletes; support of student-athlete success on the court and in the classroom; hospitality and travel management; help setup and teardown of game operations; and other duties as assigned. Supervision Received : Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times. This position is security sensitive.
