As a Security Professional - Access Control - Full Time in Murfreesboro, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you manage access points, perform routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by communicating clearly with staff and visitors, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Tuesday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Wednesday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Thursday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sunday 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting personnel and visitors with site-specific protocols.
  • Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies, including documenting incidents and maintaining activity logs.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and observations as required.
  • Support the implementation of security-related measures designed to help to deter theft, loss, or damage to property within the logistics and distribution environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
