Woodford Oil Company sells a full line of petroleum products, & motor fuels to retail service stations & convenience stores, as well as commercial, industrial mining, farming and residential heating industries. Woodford Oil Company proudly markets to customers in West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Woodford Oil Company is looking for a full-time Diesel Technician to service and repair a large fleet of CMV's at our Morgantown, WV Terminal. Our growing fleet of trucks has created the need to expand our maintenance team. Our Morgantown location has a new Maintenance Shop under construction with 2 large service bays and a wash bay with radiant heated floors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
  • Perform vehicle greasing following assigned schedules
  • Perform vehicle fluid check following assigned schedules
  • Perform safety checks on vehicles
  • Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services
  • Perform other maintenance related work as required
  • Drive vehicles in / out of shop for service and test drive after maintenance
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Standards
  • Complete required paperwork

Qualifications

  • Will need to have West Virginia state inspection license or obtain once hired
  • CDL preferred, but not required
  • Education : High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license / class A or B preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with reasonable accommodations
  • Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and background check, which will include previous employment, criminal history and motor vehicle record review
  • Ability to drive large vehicles
  • Basic mechanical skills
