25-26 AY Temporary Faculty Pool (Lecturer) - Criminology at Fresno State Library. This is a pool of temporary, part-time lecturers to teach undergraduate criminology / criminal justice courses as needed.

Position Summary
The department seeks qualified candidates to teach undergraduate courses as outlined in the department catalog or other courses identified to fulfill educational goals for current students. This is a temporary pool; assignments are made as needed and on short notice.
Responsibilities
Note : Appointments are contingent upon budget and enrollment considerations and follow the Order of Work provisions within the CSU-CFA collective bargaining agreement. Eligibility to work in the United States is required. Fresno State is not a sponsoring agency for Temporary Faculty positions.

Compensation
Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience within the CSU salary schedule (Class Code = 2358 for Academic Year Lecturers). The typical salary range for a Temporary Faculty member with a Master's degree teaching full-time (15 WTUs) is $5,507–$6,677 per month, with actual salary adjusted based on the number of WTUs assigned.
Anticipated Semester
The temporary faculty pool is open continuously; positions are filled as needed based on enrollment and funding. The pool remains in place for two academic terms. Applicants may need to begin teaching on short notice. To remain in the pool beyond two terms, reapplication is required.

Review of applications is on a rolling basis as teaching positions open. Review may begin as early as April 25, 2025 for Fall 2025 assignments. Deadline to be fully considered for Fall 2025 hiring : June 30, 2025. Projected deadline for Spring 2026 hiring : October 31, 2025. Projected closing date for 2025-2026 announcements : March 1, 2026.
