Setting : Community Hospital, 34-bed Telemetry Unit

Start Date : October 27, 2025

End Date : January 26, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend (6 weekend shifts per contract)

Orientation : 36 hours

Scrubs : Caribbean Blue (not provided)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1590 - $1710

Telemetry RN Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry Registered Nurse experience

Active Compact or Maryland RN license (required at time of submission)

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (required for telemetry nursing jobs)

Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation, and management

Ability to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed

Two supervisor references required

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Charting experience with Cerner preferred

First-time travel nurses accepted

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Monitor and manage patients with cardiac and medical diagnoses including CHF, MI, Atrial Fibrillation / Flutter, Stroke / TIA, Renal Disease, COPD, Diabetes, COVID-19, and more

Interpret and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias and telemetry changes

Perform and assist with special procedures such as peritoneal dialysis and advanced telemetry monitoring

Utilize safe patient handling equipment and ceiling lifts in every room

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services

Provide compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, maintaining high standards of safety and quality

Float to other hospital units as required by staffing needs
