Paralegal - Employment Litigation

Overview

Paralegal – Employment Litigation role at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP in Seattle. This position provides comprehensive support to attorneys on medium to large litigation matters, primarily related to employment litigation. The role requires advanced case management, research, discovery, and trial preparation skills, and the ability to oversee and collaborate with legal secretaries, administrative staff, clerks, and temporary employees on client-related tasks. The firm offers a hybrid work arrangement with two days remote and three in-office.

On a Typical Day You Will

• Case Management : central point of communication for litigation teams; coordinate and share information across project assignments.
• Maintain accurate calendar systems in collaboration with secretaries and docketing personnel.
• Oversee creation, indexing, and maintenance of complex case files and document collections using modern document management systems.
• Proofread legal memoranda for typographical and grammatical accuracy; verify citations to legal authorities and evidence in compliance with The Bluebook and court-specific requirements.
• Coordinate and manage court filings, including electronic submissions, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional requirements.

What We Offer

The annualized salary range for Washington is $88,000 to $129,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on education, training, experience and other factors. Full-time employees may be eligible for bonuses and various benefits, including health insurance with HSA, disability, dental, vision, telemedicine, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
