We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE NEW Incineration unit is seeking an Chemical Engineer will be responsible for planning operations associated with the high-temperature destruction of hazardous and non-hazardous materials through the Company's industrial incinerator located in Kimball, NE. Starting pay 80k per year, Day shift M-F.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring that health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all timesDevelop a production plan for the incineration unit and follow through with inspections to ensure successful achievement of production goalsDirectly oversee the scheduling of waste materials into the facilityDevelop sequences for the Operations Manager(s) and / or SupervisorsComplete all required paperwork associated with tracking the wasteEnsure all work meets applicable QA / QC guidelines and compliance parametersResponsible for problem-solving when results fall outside of mandated specificationsResponsible for month-end inventory reconciliation and managementWork closely with plant management to implement operational improvement strategies to maximize efficiencies throughout the unitOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent4-year Chemical Engineering Bachelor's Degree3 years of industrial operations experience preferred - willing to train recent College Grads!Computer skills and proficiency with office applications (i.e. MS Excel and Outlook)Advanced chemical knowledge requiredFlexibility to work rotating shift(s) including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as neededAbility to work in adverse environments (cold / heat)Ability to work in team environmentDOT TrainingProficiency in Windows based applicationsValid Driver's License requiredPunctuality and attendance requiredRespirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)An excellent commitment to health and safetyAccountability; punctualityBackground check, drug screen and physical- requiredMust work rotating shifts Days / NightsValid US DL- requiredApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time, including F1-OPT work authorization.Join our team today!
