Job Description :
The IT Asset Agent is an important member of our enterprise service management team. The IT Asset Agent will report to the IT Asset Manager and work with the ServiceNow ITAM team. This role will be responsible for helping the team discover, validate, and maintain IT assets in our ServiceNow platform. This is accomplished using various tools including ServiceNow Discovery, Intune, JAMF, Rapid7, etc.
Key Responsibilities :
- Working within the ServiceNow HAM module, you will to discover, track, and manage IT assets from procurement to retire.
- Using the ServiceNow CMDB, keep the asset attributes correct
- Identify and recommend implement improvement enhancements
- Generate reports and provide insights on assets to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with IT, procurement, and other departments to ensure accurate asset data and tracking.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of software and hardware assets to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware assets within the ServiceNow ITAM modules.
