About The Position

Job Title : Travel Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (05 : 00-17 : 00)

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : Current nursing license

Certifications : ACLS required

Must-Have :

Candidates must have the following skills :

ACLS

Experience with drips including heparin, tikosin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitroglycerin, Lasix, and ketamine

PCU experience

Cardiac experience

Description :

Join a fast-paced and challenging cardiac unit known for high acuity care.

This unit features 20 beds and is staffed by 40 professionals including RNs and PCTs.

The day shift consists of 1 Charge RN, 5 nurses, and 3 PCTs.

The night shift includes 1 Charge RN, 5 nurses, and 2 PCTs.

Patient ratios are 1 : 4, ensuring quality care.

The unit is equipped with various equipment including tele monitors, transport monitors, suction devices, feeding pumps, tracheostomy tubes, BiPAP, CPAP, heated high flow, chest tubes, Foley catheters, and pacer wires.

Electronic medical records (EMR) are managed using Meditech.
