Key Responsibilities :

Receiving and Storage :

  • Welcome Materials : Receive and unload incoming materials, supplies, and equipment with precision.
  • Verification : Check items against purchase orders or invoices, ensuring accuracy and inspecting for damage.
  • Organized Storage : Store items in designated locations within the warehouse or storage area, maintaining order.
  • Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of received items, including quantities, descriptions, and locations.
  • Preservation : Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or deterioration.

Inventory Management :

  • Tracking : Monitor inventory levels and movements to maintain optimal stock.
  • Reconciliation : Reconcile inventory records with physical counts, ensuring accuracy.
  • Audits : Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to uphold inventory integrity.
  • Discrepancy Resolution : Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records promptly.
  • Reporting : Prepare insightful reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.

    • Distribution :

  • Fulfillment : Fulfill material requests or requisitions with efficiency.
  • Retrieval : Locate and retrieve requested items from storage swiftly.
  • Delivery : Distribute materials to designated departments or individuals, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

    • Additional Duties :

  • Order Processing : Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions with attention to detail.
  • Organization : Maintain a clean and organized storage area, promoting a safe work environment.
  • Communication : Liaise with vendors and internal departments regarding material needs and discrepancies.
  • Waste Management : May be involved in the disposal of scrap or surplus materials.

    • Skills and Qualifications :

  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical Skills : Basic math and computer skills, especially Excel, are essential.
  • Attention to Detail : Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Team Player : Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Communication : Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
  • Physical Stamina : Ability to lift and move materials, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Inventory Knowledge : Familiarity with inventory management principles is a plus, knowledge of SAP a plus.
