JOB SUMMARY AND SPECIFICATIONS
JOB SUMMARY
Collaborates and consults with Medical Director to provide comprehensive health care to clients through a formal, organized Occupational Health and Urgent Care program. Coordinates with physicians and other health care professionals in order to provide a broad range of primary health care services for specified customer groups. Collaborates with Vice President, Medical Director, Industry contacts, and other staff in the development of strategic plans, making recommendations, regarding staffing, equipment and other issues pertaining to the day-to-day management of the clinic. The Nurse Practitioner will provide clinical direction and oversight of the free-standing medical practice. Must be aware of Major Health Partners policies and procedures and assist in providing evidence based practices that meets or exceeds the standard of care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Professional & Technical Skills
Demonstrates leadership, management and communication skills. Working knowledge of Healthworks operations. Comprehensive knowledge and skills in current nursing practice.
Education
Advanced Nursing Degree
License(s) or Certification(s)
Current Nurse Practitioner license within the State; CPR certified
Other Skills or Requirements
Blood draws, health screenings
Skilled to Care for Certain Age-Related Patient Groups (incumbents will be skilled in the care of the following patient groups)
All age groups 6 months and older.
