About our Adult Foster Care division - At Home Living

A DSP functions as an advocate, supporter, educator and caregiver to individuals with disabilities. We believe in our clients and their right to live in the least-restrictive environment. We also ensure that the homes they live in allow them to lead fulfilled lives while remaining safe and well-cared-for. Our programs are 4-bedroom residential settings & centered around the individuals we support. Most importantly, the goal is to provide services to enrich the lives of our residents to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives. Location : Edgemont Blvd, MN

Compensation :

  • $16.50-$17.00

Schedule :

This is typically a part-time position with a rotating schedule, including every other weekend. Full-time opportunities may occasionally become available.

We offer a variety of shifts to accommodate different schedules. Examples include :

  • AM Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM
  • PM Shift : 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 00 PM
  • Overnight (NOC) : 11 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

    • Typical Job Duties :

  • Cooking and cleaning
  • Activities of the daily living
  • Medication administration & documentation
  • Socializing with residents (playing games, watching movies, going for walks, bonfires, etc.)
  • Going to appointments & outings with clients (shopping, movies, fishing, etc.)
  • & Most importantly - Making a difference in the lives of others

    • Requirements :

  • 19 years or older
  • Pass a MN DHS Background Study
  • Available to work every other weekend
  • Current Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a Clean Record
