Summary of Position

The Game Security Analyst is responsible for investigating game security issues that require special attention. They will gather and analyze the game and account data to response potential game-breaking issues and incidents and provide a possible resolution to our game producers.

We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.

Job Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor and analyze potential risk and opportunities of exploitation mainly within the game, with some focus on platform and transactions. Analyzing data to identify patterns or trends in abusing activity or predict where cheating might occur next
• Research and reproduce exploits and send timely reports regarding the analysis of cheating and exploits to relevant game teams
• Processes administrative actions with regards to mass suspensions and unblocks that are sanctioned through investigations
• Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management. Stay up-to-date on new information technology trends and security standards
• Other duties as assigned

Work Experience

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

Knowledge / Skills

Knowledge of software runtime analysis, debugging, and security testing techniques, security auditing practices, and underlying software defects that routinely result in security vulnerabilities

Knowledge Experience using log analysis tools such as Splunk SPL, SQL and / or other similar tools

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (hourly)

The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $27.00 - $33.00 hourly.

Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. An individual’s pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses / incentives, however the salary range listed in this job posting reflects the base salary only.
