Overview

Senior Home Lending Advisor – Maple Valley, WA. Responsibilities

  • Coaches and mentors the branch team by providing training on products and services.
  • Works with bankers, meets with customers, and introduces new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
  • Collaborates with the team to create an outstanding customer experience using centralized direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts.
  • Develops a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations in footprint territories; functions within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
  • Establishes themselves as the internal and external mortgage expert and maintains good relationships with customers.
  • Exhibits consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and understanding of the customer's financial needs, goals, and circumstances.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and / or real estate
  • 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking
  • Knowledge of real estate market in local area
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
  • Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • FHA / VA sales experience
  • Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills
  • Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment
  • Regulatory and Licensing

    This position is subject to regulatory requirements under the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, the Truth in Lending Act, and the Dodd-Frank Act. Employment offers are contingent on background checks, credit history, NMLS registration, and compliance with SAFE Act requirements. Felony convictions within the last seven years may disqualify you from consideration.
