House Attendant

The House Attendant works with the Housekeeping Management Team to assist Room Attendants on assigned floors or buildings by collecting dirty linens, delivering clean linens, and retrieving trash throughout the hotel. Assist with the commercial laundry function and cleaning of public areas, exterior entrances, and parking lot. Will be assigned special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Duties and responsibilities include :

• Deliver on the promise of Sonesta Service in all interactions with guests and clients according to the Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Work with Room Attendants with heavy items.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of floor closets and corridors.
• Respond to guests requests.
• Clean other designated areas.
• Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Respond to special requests, guest complaints, and the delivery of housekeeping / room supplies.
• Minimize waste of supplies and amenities.
• Deliver lost and found items.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects.
• Monitor laundry supplies and equipment.
• Promote teamwork and quality service.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
