Join Our Team as a Clinical Dietitian!

Are you passionate about nutrition and eager to make a difference in the lives of cardiac rehab patients? At Carle Health, we’re looking for a dedicated Clinical Dietitian to join our dynamic team. This role is all about providing comprehensive nutrition care through an integrated approach, ensuring our patients receive the best support on their journey to health.

Position Details

Schedule :

  • Monday, Tuesday, and every third Wednesday : CATR Cardiac Rehab
  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday : Curtis Cardiac Rehab

Your Responsibilities

As a Clinical Dietitian, you will :

  • Provide Comprehensive Nutrition Care : Conduct nutritional assessments and ensure compliance with charting guidelines.
  • Support Nutrition Therapy : Collaborate with the Cardiac Rehab Team to develop and manage personalized nutrition care plans.
  • Conduct Workshops : Lead live cooking courses and nutrition workshops to educate patients and their families.
  • Stay Informed : Keep up-to-date with regulations and trends in nutrition care to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Engage with the Community : Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and community groups.

    • Qualifications

    To thrive in this role, you should have :

  • Education : Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Licenses / Certifications :

    • Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) - Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Valid Driver’s License (routine travel to other sites required)
  • Experience : At least 1 year in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills :

    • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse groups.

  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Windows OS and various applications.

    • Working Conditions

    This role requires travel to conduct consultations, workshops, and cooking courses across various Cardiac Rehab regional sites. Flexibility and adaptability are key!

    The compensation range for this position is $23.52 - $39.28 per hour , depending on experience, qualifications, and other factors.
