About the Role

SD Industries Inc. is seeking skilled Tradesmen / Iron Workers to join our growing team. This is a travel-based position offering steady pay, benefits, and the opportunity to work on diverse transportation, architectural metals, and signage projects across the U.S. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with structural and ornamental steel work, railings, canopies, and signage installation , be adaptable to different project environments, and take pride in delivering precise, high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain architectural metals, railings, canopies, signage, and light structures .

Perform iron work , including layout, structural installation, and reinforcement of steel frameworks.

Install interior and exterior signage systems to exact specifications.

Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders .

Safely and efficiently operate power tools, lifts, welding equipment, and other trade-related machinery .

Work collaboratively with project leads and crew members to meet deadlines and uphold safety standards.

Travel nationwide to assigned project sites, sometimes for extended durations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Tradesman or Iron Worker in construction, metals, or signage installation.

Solid knowledge of materials, tools, and installation practices in steel and architectural metals.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop drawings .

Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible schedules based on project needs.

OSHA certifications or other safety training (preferred).

High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or apprenticeship a plus).
