Salary Range : $58,500.00-70,000.00

MAJOR FUNCTIONS :

The Social Worker position requires a wide range of clinical skills including interviewing, individual and group counseling and a thorough knowledge of the substance abuse, mental health and human service system resources. The Social Worker is responsible for the assessment and treatment of clients that have co-occurring mental health issues requiring a specialized group curriculum.

Additionally, the Social Worker is responsible for the role of Health Coordinator to assure the provision of education and / or referral for communicable diseases. The Social Worker functions as part of the Multidisciplinary team, and is responsible for the review of treatment plans as a Qualified Health Professional (other then CASAC). The S ocial Worker is on the Quality Assurance team and is responsible for the review of client records to meet regulatory, billing and utilization review compliance.
