California Licensed Social Worker

Job Description :

Family Health Care Resources is a Community Clinic in East Los Angeles. Our facility is looking to hire a Bilingual (Fluent in Spanish) Licensed Social Worker to assist patients. This is a remote position but you do need to reside in Los Angeles County.

This is a part-time position (Monday - Friday).

Someone with Geriatrics experience is preferred as the majority of our patients are elderly and need assistance with Medicare, Social Security, Medical, Disability, Social Services, Abuse, IHSS, and Case Management.

Qualifications :

• Active Social Work License.
• All applicants must be bilingual in Spanish / English.
• Competence in the physical, mental, and social needs of the elderly.
• Must be able to legally work in the US.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, Social Security, Disability, Housing, Immigration, Covered California, and other local and state-level programs to assist the elderly and low-income patients.

Responsibilities :

MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH.

Job Type : 30-40 hours a week.

Pay : $28.00 - $35.00 per hour.
