Responsibilities Work in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a Level I Trauma Center Average patient ratio of 1 : 2 Night shifts, 3x12 hours, from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 Required to work every other weekend Clinician must float within scope to other pediatric units, including Pediatric ED, NNICU, inpatient pediatrics, and psychiatric units as needed Uses Epic EMR system Must be comfortable floating to various pediatric units and taking patient assignments as needed Royal blue scrubs are required Pre-start modules must be completed prior to beginning assignment Only non-local candidates located more than 75 miles from the facility will be considered RTO up to 7 days is auto approved; greater than 7 days requires approval Return staff must be gone 2 years before being eligible for traveler positions Requirements Active CT or compact RN license or ability to obtain prior to start Minimum 3 years of PICU RN experience required Current BLS and PALS certifications required Cardiac critical care experience preferred CRRT and ECMO certification preferred Experience in a large trauma center required No previous permanent employment within the past 2 years at this facility Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted COVID vaccine and booster required unless religious or medical exemption is provided Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-619974.
