Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Full-Time

Location : The Blick Center, Akron, OH.

Schedule : Monday–Friday | No evenings or weekends.

The Blick Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and / or mental health diagnoses. This full-time role offers a meaningful opportunity to provide care in both outpatient and residential settings— with no evening or weekend shifts required .

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver direct healthcare services and coordinate care for clients.
  • Assist psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system.
  • Communicate relevant health updates to interdisciplinary team members.
  • Participate in admission conferences, annual reviews, and case meetings.
  • Support staff with medication administration and health-related activities.
  • Share paid on-call responsibilities (phone triage).

Qualifications :

  • Current LPN license in the State of Ohio.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in developmental disabilities or mental health.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
