Innovation Engineering Department

The Innovation Engineering team is responsible for the development of standards, templates, specifications, and owner's requirements documents in support of Vantage's global growth, most notably leading the Vantage prototyping effort known as OneDesign.

The team collaborates with all multi-functional teams within Vantage to drive prototypical designs for global deployment to ensure high quality, consistent product deployments in alignment with constantly evolving internal and external customer requirements. In addition to standards development, the Innovation Engineering team is responsible for leading due diligence assessment of merger and acquisition opportunity, and development of design requirements for customer build to suit opportunities!

Position Overview

This role can be based in our Denver, CO location.

Vantage is looking for an Associate Product Owner who will report directly to the Product Manager, Global and will support the operational and administrative aspects of the Product Innovation team. This role is crucial in facilitating the smooth execution of product development processes and ensuring effective communication across various teams.

The Associate Product Owner is an essential member of the product team and plays a key role in supporting the development and success of our company's products. This role requires an organized individual who can lead multiple tasks efficiently while supporting the product development lifecycle from concept to launch. The Associate Product Owner will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the product vision aligns with company goals and delivers exceptional value to the customers.

Essential Job Functions

• Define and maintain the product vision and strategy in alignment with company and Innovation Department goals and needs.
• Own and prioritize the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring that the development team is focused on delivering the most valuable features.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather feedback, refine product requirements, and ensure alignment across teams.
• Work closely with the development team during development to clarify requirements, remove obstacles, and ensure the product meets quality standards.
• Communicate product progress, updates, and changes in strategy to Innovation stakeholders and team members.
• Participate in roadmap and launch planning, launch execution, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement of the product development process.
• Monitor and evaluate product performance post-launch, using data and feedback to guide future product iterations and enhancements.
