Hospitalist Physician

GI HOSPITALIST POSITION IN PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL!

This is not a visa position and candidates must have a pending or a current FL License!

Will bring doc on right away!

1099 with flexibility on how things are structured!

7 days on / 7 days off for a total of 26 weeks

Start date August 15th or as soon as possible

Can see patients in the office on off days if physician

Affluent area, A rated schools, great insurance payor mix, Closest major airport to the facility is PBI

Base expected to be $375K to 425k based on experience, plus 20% collections and benefits package

The other GIs are in private practices in the area so hospital would like to have a GI on premises every day. Will be the in house GI consultant on call for the hospital, on the premises. Independent contractor. There is no call schedule when you are on your week off.

235 beds in hospital. You would need to round on the patients and take call if required during your week on and see the patients. Otherwise, there are no required hours (do not sleep at hospital) and you could be in your own practice on your week off ( if you are trying to maintain an existing practice). Procedures scheduled, then do consults as needed. NP rounds and does consults as well.

• Procedures required : Colonoscopy, UGE, EUS, ERCP
• Approximately how many patients will be seen per day? 25-35 (shared with NP)
• Admission required? Yes
• What does your Midlevel or Support Staff look like? 1 NP that provides support Mon Fri
• EMR System utilized is Cerner
• How busy is the average call on weeknights & weekends? Not very busy

Credentialing timeline is 60 days once all documents are presented
