A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney with 1-4 years of litigation experience to join its Labor and Employment Practice Group in California. This role offers an opportunity for a junior attorney to make an immediate impact by assisting clients in navigating employment challenges with clarity and confidence.

Duties

Draft persuasive legal briefs and court filings.
Represent clients in hearings, law and motion proceedings, and trials.
Conduct legal research and advise on employment and business issues.
Review and interpret contracts and employment-related documents.
Take and defend depositions.
Propound and respond to written discovery.
Collaborate with team members to deliver strategic service to clients.

Requirements

1-4 years of litigation experience; labor and employment background preferred.

Excellent research and writing skills with a strong academic record.

Comfort with complex legal issues and documents.

A competitive mindset and interest in litigation.

Professionalism and sound judgment.

Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.

Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills

Strong legal research and writing skills.

Ability to manage complex legal issues.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.
