• PRN - Flexible Work Schedule :  7a-4p or 8a - 5p  M-F
• Some shared responsibilities at both sites – Cardiac Rehab and the main hospital campus (5 miles apart).
• ARRT or RCIS Certification required
• This position requires the following to practice in Texas  - (The Texas Medical Board)
• a valid ARRT-R American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification in Radiography (ARRT-R)
• and MRT Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
• OR a RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or CCDS Certification

JOB SUMMARY The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, under general supervision, helps Physicians during catheterization / electrophysiology lab procedures. Prepares room and equipment, instructs patients, monitors patient's condition and provides routine and emergency patient care during procedures. Contributes to the orientation and training of other team members. Help in daily, monthly, and or quarterly quality control initiative through auditing and reporting.
