Position will also be responsible to assist with pickup of Motor Coaches at various Port Authorities and other locations. The position is also responsible for exercise parked motor coaches on a specified schedule and keeping records of that. The position may be requested to perform minor motor coach detailing, prior to delivery of Motor Coaches, as well as other duties and tasks to support the Jacksonville PDI Center. What You Drive at DTNA Ability to professionally operate a Motor Coach on all types of roads for up to 8 to 10 hours per day, subject to state and federal regulations Ability to travel long distances and be away from home base for up to 10 days at a time Ability to travel on short notice and occasionally on weekends, in order to meet required delivery schedules Knowledge of the basic features of the Daimler Coach (and Competitor) Products and ability to present these features to Customers and Prospects, in a Professional and Courteous manner
- Ability to communicate with fellow Daimler Coaches employees and other third party individuals (Customers and Vendors) when requested
- The position is also responsible for exercise parked motor coaches on a specified schedule and keeping records
- Act as an overall brand ambassador for Mercedes Benz Motor Coaches Knowledge You Should Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of proven experience in driving commercial vehicles
- CDL – with a (P) Endorsement - currently active and maintained (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
- Communication : Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong professional conversation etiquette
- High level of personal and professional integrity, honesty and accountability.
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to obtain credentials required to access the various Port Authorities
