Overview
Kimley-Horn is seeking an experienced Senior Cognos Developer to lead the design, development, and administration of our IBM Cognos Analytics environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations in Cognos
- Source data needed for reports and work with the data team to incorporate into the data warehouse and models
- Perform Cognos administration tasks including user management, security setup, deployment, and performance tuning
- Maintain and optimize data models, packages, and reporting layers
- Troubleshoot issues with reports, data sources, and server environments
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards
- Support upgrades, patches, and migrations for Cognos environments
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field5+ years of experience with IBM Cognos Analytics (Report Studio, Framework Manager, Administration)Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts, and BI best practicesProficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)Preferred Experience
