The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Tram Driver (Part-Time) to join the team!

Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD.

Classification : Part-Time (Typically 2 to 4 shifts per week depending on business needs)

Shift : PM Shift, typically 8 hours shifts from 1 or 2PM. must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

Compensation : $20.50 plus tips plus part-time benefits.

What will I be doing?

As a Driver, you would be responsible for greeting guests and driving guests to and from requested destinations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards :

• Welcome and assist guests in tram areas.
• Assist with any guests requests or needs in regards to transportation around the property.
• Operate radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report status of service.
• Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice. Answer questions and offer assistance giving accurate information regarding outlet hours, other hotel services, directions to local attractions or function rooms, car rentals, air line shuttle service, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness behind the greeter stand.
• Perform other duties as requested, such as executing special guest requests.
• Be totally familiar with and inform guests of hotel facilities, hours of operation, and special promotions.
