Job Title : RN - PCU

Facility : CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs

Shift : 12-hour days, Days shift

Start Date : December 15, 2025

Assignment Length : Approximately 3 months (until March 16, 2026)

Certification and License Requirements :

  • Current and valid RN license in the state of practice (underline and bold as specified).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Additional certifications such as ACLS may be preferred or required depending on unit needs.

    • What You Bring :

  • Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar acute care setting.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to fast-paced environments and handle a wide range of patient needs.
  • Strong clinical skills, including IV management, patient assessment, and emergency response.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to maintain a compassionate approach while delivering high-quality patient care.

    • Preferred Education & Experience :

  • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent RN experience in a hospital, specifically in a PCU, telemetry, or step-down unit.
  • Prior experience working in a similar hospital environment is highly preferred.

    • Compensation & Benefits :

  • Weekly taxable pay : $1,994.94
  • Weekly stipend : $1,246.00
