Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT or CCI certification for a 13-week day shift assignment including on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a cardiac catheterization lab
  • Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week from 6 : 45 AM to 4 : 45 PM
  • On-call rotation includes one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3 to 4 weeks
  • Floating to other units or facilities may be required on occasion
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Candidates are required to submit all time-off requests before signing the contract
  • Holiday coverage may be required depending on unit needs
  • Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered
  • No local candidates will be accepted
  • Hospital scrubs are required for this role
  • Required certifications must be active at the time of consideration

    • Requirements

  • ARRT or CCI certification required
  • State license required if applicable; proof of application is accepted if license is not already in hand
  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19; booster not required
  • At least two references from the last two years are required, with at least one supervisor or charge reference
  • Epic EMR experience is not required but candidates must indicate their experience if applicable
  • Must not have more than one DUI on background check
  • Travelers must have been separated from the associated health system for at least one year before returning
