Q3 Contracting is seeking a Professional Utility Engineer to support our Plan and Profile Operations in Commerce City, Colorado . The Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. The Professional Utility Engineer will be responsible for assisting our Plan and Profile operations SUE plans.
Primary responsibilities include establishing standards and leading SUE operations in accordance with ASCE 38.

Responsibilities
- A clear understanding of ASCE 38 standards.
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and identify project goals, timeliness, and resource requirements for SUE operations.
- Oversee the maintenance of SUE project logs and documentation files.
- Provide technical direction to field locator staff, responsible for creation and implementation of all SUE procedures.
- Provide project management services and coordinate the bid process for specific projects as assigned.
- Ensure all facets of SUE operations are performed; attend meetings and provide progress reports as the main SUE resource.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineeringMinimum of 5 years of tangible experience in utility constructionProficiency in AutoCADExperience with ASCE standard governance of Subsurface Utility EngineeringExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary teamAbility to organize and handle multiple project assignmentsProficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft ProjectState registered Professional Engineer (PE Required)Compensation and Benefits
