Registered Nurse - Transplant Coordinator

Location : UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Outpt Pavilion, US : CO : Aurora\n\nDepartment : Transplant Center\n\nFTE : Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)\n\nShift : Days\n\nPay : $40.86 - $63.33 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience\n\nJoin our dedicated team at UCHealth, where we focus on improving lives through compassionate care.\n\nAs a Transplant Coordinator RN, you will provide vital nursing care to patients throughout the journey of solid organ transplants and cellular therapies. You will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality care and positive patient outcomes.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including inpatient and outpatient care providers and community partners, to coordinate transplant patient care.\n
• Manage and monitor patient medications in accordance with established policies and procedures.\n
• Triage patient concerns and facilitate care coordination as directed by healthcare providers.\n
• Educate patients and their families about transplant processes and procedures to enhance their understanding and preparedness.\n
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment to act efficiently in a fast-paced environment.\n\nQualifications : \n
• Minimum Education : Graduate of an accredited Registered / Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience. Preferred : Bachelor's degree in Nursing.\n
• Licensure / Certification : State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ensure your BLS or CPR card is valid for at least 60 days beyond the hire date.\n
• Experience : Minimum 2 years in a related nursing specialty. Preferred : Transplant coordination experience and clinical care of transplant recipients.\n\nBenefits : \n
