20-bed unit providing intensive care to adult patients who have suffered traumatic brain injuries (TBI), strokes, epilepsy, and other head traumas.

NSICU patients do not go to recovery room post-op; they will return to the unit for recovery.

Multi-care level unit and RNs should be prepared to care for up to five Med Surg patients.

2 years of prior Telemetry experience required (must have 2 years exp in large, urban hospital)

Drips are required on all floors

First timers NOT accepted (will consider if the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level l Academic Medical Center)

BLS required

BLS, ACLS, NIH required

EPIC charting experience required
