Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring a  GIS Specialist  for our Birmingham, AL office to provide quality planning, designing and technical overview to assist the Project Manager / Client Account Manager in delivering project, within budgetary and time constraints.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include

• Create and maintain GIS databases, perform data analysis, and produce high-quality maps and graphics.
• Support engineering and environmental teams with GIS deliverables for transportation, water, wastewater, stormwater, site development, and environmental projects.
• Collect, process, and integrate survey, CAD, and field data into GIS platforms.
• Develop custom GIS tools, applications, and workflows to improve efficiency and data visualization.
• Manage geospatial data from public and private sources to support project requirements.
• Conduct spatial analysis to support planning, modeling, and decision-making.
• Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and exhibits using GIS outputs.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on GIS tools and applications.
