The Opportunity

TC Energy is looking to add a Supply Chain Analyst to our US Material Procurement & Expediting team in Charleston, WV. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Material Procurement & Expediting, the successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement of materials by assigned commodity, managing the full sourcing lifecycle including RFx development, commercial evaluations, and supplier negotiations. This individual acts as the single point of contact for purchase orders, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders and maintaining accurate SAP records.

What You'll Do

• Procurement of materials by assigned commodity, with varying levels of complexity
• Conduct commercial evaluations of quotes. Uses analysis in negotiations with suppliers
• Develop, issue, and manage RFx
• Single point of contact (SPOC) pertaining to purchase orders within area of responsibility
• Liaise with suppliers and other internal stakeholders (Supplier Qualifications, Engineering, Project team, Legal, Risk, etc.) as required
• Understands standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions
• Ensure all relevant information is received to maintain SAP records
• Executes cost savings / cost avoidance opportunities, process efficiencies
• Interacts with colleagues in AP to routinely resolve invoice exceptions
• Make recommendations to business partners regarding cost drivers, supplier performance etc.
