As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Tech Site in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working together to create a secure environment while putting people first and always acting with integrity.

Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Fri 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sat 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sun 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related matters as they arise.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and patrol activities according to company and client requirements.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and reporting any discrepancies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
