Schedule 7 PM - 7 : 30 AM Job Description The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care using the nursing process. Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of role-appropriate tasks in the implementation of care. Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with established FMC policies, procedures, and guidelines. Responsibilities Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care of each patient according to the nursing process. Provides education for the patient and family / significant other from admission through the discharge process. Documents the nursing process / pathway accurately and legibly. Notifies physician of pertinent observations and changes in the patient's status. Administers medications and performs treatments accurately and safely. Implements physician orders as written. Ensures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio. CPR certification required. Previous nursing experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
