Join Our Team : Estimator Position Available at Mt. Tabor Builders

Mt. Tabor Builders has been a premier custom home builder in the 4-state area for over 24 years. We're currently seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team and help bring dream homes to life with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and estimate budget costs using plans and specifications
  • Assess cost-effectiveness and track actual costs throughout project
  • Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for accurate costs
  • Resolve cost discrepancies through research and data collection
  • Write and present budgets, reports, and project plans
  • Develop competitive bids for construction projects
  • Collaborate with architects and other professionals
  • Navigate and apply building codes effectively
  • Process paperwork and travel to job sites as needed
  • Monitor construction processes and ensure compliance
  • Stay current with safety codes and construction innovations

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 5yrs of verifiable residential experience in construction estimating
  • Strong math skills (algebra, geometry, basic arithmetic)
  • Proficient in reading specifications and plans
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Familiarity with current building codes
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
