Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support a dynamic legal team specializing in personal injury, workers’ compensation, Social Security disability, and employment law. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping clients navigate complex legal challenges and will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.

Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.

Organize and manage case files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including witness coordination and exhibit organization.

Communicate with clients, medical providers, and government agencies to gather necessary documentation.

Monitor deadlines and maintain litigation calendars.

Support attorneys during hearings and depositions as needed.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm or legal setting.

Familiarity with Oregon court procedures and legal terminology.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Social Security disability or workers’ compensation cases.

Bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus.

Knowledge of medical terminology and records handling.
