ICU RN Job Details – Quincy, IL Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 12 / 2025 – End : 2 / 11 / 2026) Location : Quincy, Illinois (62301) – Illinois healthcare jobs Setting : ICU (MICU with some SICU), 16 beds, Level II Trauma Center Shifts : 12-hour days (7am start), 3 shifts / week, 36 hours guaranteed Estimated Weekly Pay : $1990 - $2130 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) Holiday Requirement : Participate in rotation with core staff Dress Code : Black scrubs Charting System : Allscripts - Sunrise ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Illinois RN license required Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center (300 bed hospital preferred) Current certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (PALS preferred) Experience with CRRT (Prismaflex) highly preferred Proficient in titrating drips and managing complex ICU patients Experience with bedside procedures (sheath pulling, art line insertion, tracheostomies, bronchoscopies, etc.) preferred ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality critical care to ICU patients (1 : 2 nurse-to-patient ratio) Manage trauma, neuro, cardiac, and post-surgical cases in the intensive care setting Administer and titrate ICU drips (Precedex, pressors, antiarrhythmics, sedation, etc.) Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including intensivists, hospitalists, and respiratory therapists Interpret cardiac monitor strips and respond to acute changes in patient condition Assist with bedside procedures and organ procurement (no transplants) Float as needed to PCU / CVICU, primarily as a support resource Complete required orientation and maintain ongoing clinical competencies Apply now to join our healthcare team as a travel ICU Registered Nurse in Quincy, Illinois.
