General Manager – Manufacturing Division

Location : Midwest

Are you a strategic, hands-on leader passionate about driving operational excellence and building high-performing teams? We are seeking a General Manager to lead a high-performing manufacturing division, aligning operational performance with corporate goals and driving measurable results.

What You’ll Do

As the General Manager , you will :

  • Lead Talent & Culture : Champion a culture of safety, engagement, and professional development. Mentor and grow a high-performing leadership team while fostering strong union relationships.
  • Drive Operational Excellence : Oversee daily operations, ensure cost efficiency, and manage performance to meet budget and P&L targets.
  • Shape Strategy & Growth : Define bold goals, identify new markets, oversee capital planning, and lead strategic planning cycles.
  • Build Customer Relationships : Support key customer accounts, host visits, and enhance customer satisfaction through proactive engagement.
  • Foster a Collaborative Culture : Promote teamwork, community outreach, and engagement in corporate initiatives.

    • What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field ; MBA preferred .
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • Proven expertise in union environments and cross-functional leadership .
  • Strong financial acumen and strategic planning skills .
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and change management abilities.
