ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Level I for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details :

  • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM
  • 5 openings available with immediate start
  • Patient ratios may be 5-6 : 1 depending on floor assignment and patient acuity
  • Required to float to any floor of the facility to care for patients within skill set based on staffing needs
  • Weekend requirement : 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule
  • One year recent nursing experience preferred
  • Current Louisiana or COMPACT RN License required
  • Current BLS via AHA required
  • Current ACLS via AHA required
  • Provide routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
  • Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
  • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
  • Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
  • Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers
  • Complete annual competency verification requirements
