ENT Physician Responsibilities : -Offers skin consultations.-Evaluates patient skin conditions by screening for disease.-Utilizes patient medical history as part of skin assessments.-Prescribes medication for the treatment of skin conditions.-Performs noninvasive surgical procedures on the skin.-Refers patients to advanced specialists.-Provides patient education on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive measures, ensuring their active involvement in their own healthcare.-Maintains accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant observations.-Stays abreast of the latest advancements and research in dermatology through continuous professional development and participation in conferences and workshops.-Adheres to ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance.-Other job functions as needed. Requirements -Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school-Active DEA Certificate-Active NY DEA Registration-Completion of an accredited residency program in Otolaryngology-Board certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Valid state medical license to practice as an ENT Physician in NYS-Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate and empathetically interact with patients and their families-Strong commitment to professional growth, staying current with the latest advancements in otolaryngology-Hours : Daytime, one evening per week, Fridays and available on weekends
