Senior Financial Analyst Global Mobility
The Senior Financial Analyst Global Mobility will support financial planning, performance tracking, and operational finance for Axalta's Global Mobility Coatings business. Reporting to the Director of FP&A and Operations Finance, this role will contribute to key Operation and FP&A deliverables, drive insightful analysis, and partner cross-functionally to enhance financial performance. This is a highly visible opportunity for a motivated analyst to work across both commercial and operations finance areas within a global manufacturing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and procurement teams to collect, analyze, and report on manufacturing cost performance.
- Track capital project spending and assist in ROI analysis and compliance reviews.
- Participate in standard cost updates, cost-center reviews, and plant-level financial analysis.
- Help consolidate and report global manufacturing cost savings initiatives and validate progress against targets.
- Assist in evaluating supply chain planning decisions through financial modeling and S&OP support.
- Support digital transformation and automation of financial reporting.
- Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages, including variance analysis against forecast, budget, and prior year.
- Support the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes across P&L lines
- Maintain and develop financial models
- Prepare key performance dashboards, management decks, and executive-ready summaries with guidance from the Director.
- Support ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling for strategic finance projects and leadership requests.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data and reporting from SAP S4 / HANA, SAP BW, and Power BI.
- Maintain and improve reporting tools and templates in collaboration with corporate and regional finance teams.
- Support financial transformation initiatives and participate in continuous improvement of finance processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus.47 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, operations finance, or manufacturing finance roles.Prior experience in a global manufacturing or industrial company preferred.Familiarity with cost accounting and capital project analysis is strongly desired.Travel required : approx. 10% to manufacturing sites and / or regional offices (domestic and international).Skills & Competencies
