Supervisor - Day Program - Intellectual Disabilities

Job Title : Supervisor In The Intellectual And Developmental Disabilities Department

As a Supervisor in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities department, you will play a key leadership role in supporting staff and ensuring high-quality care for individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will oversee daily operations, provide supervision and training, and foster a collaborative, person-centered environment that aligns with Pittsburgh Mercy's mission and values.

What You Will Do

• Staff Supervision & Development : Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to direct care staff. Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
• Training & Compliance : Oversee onboarding and ongoing training to ensure staff meet regulatory and organizational standards.
• Operational Oversight : Manage day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring quality service delivery and adherence to policies.
• Relationship Building : Foster strong relationships with individuals served families, staff, and external partners.
• Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution : Address concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely, professional manner.
• Continuous Improvement : Participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to program development and innovation.
