We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Area Property Manager to oversee multiple properties within our portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, customer service, and legal compliance, particularly in relation to Fair Housing regulations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, conflict management abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of property maintenance and tenant satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Oversee property leasing activities, tenant screening, and lease negotiations.
- Utilize property management software such as AppFolio for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
- Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations in all leasing practices.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess maintenance needs and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Develop and implement strategies for conflict resolution among tenants while fostering a positive community environment.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to address tenant concerns promptly and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as they arise.
- Prepare reports on property performance metrics, occupancy rates, and financial performance.
Qualifications
Proven experience in property management or a related field; real estate administrative experience is preferred.Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations, and conflict management strategies.Proficiency in property management software such as AppFolio; familiarity is a plus.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective data entry and filing processes.Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive relationships with tenants.Ability to work independently while managing multiple properties effectively.Previous sales experience is advantageous for enhancing leasing efforts.Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to excellence in property management.
