Work you'll do :
- Maintain an uninterrupted flow of materials and services required to support Amatrol’s manufacturing and overall business needs. The short version is buying lots of interesting stuff and working with vendors to get it on site when needed.
- Research the market to find suppliers for new components who bring the best value - quality, timeliness, price.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify issues, working to resolve shortages and discrepant materials in a timely manner. Sometimes that means working with Amatrol’s manufacturing and engineering to develop creative solutions to supply chain issues.
Requirements :
Associate or bachelor’s degree in business - equivalent experience accepted.Solid computer skills with both Excel and use of an MRP or accounting program.Excellent written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Preferred Knowledge / Skills :
1 year of purchasing experience or other analytically based experience.APICS supply chain certification.Knowledge of commercial purchasing processes, production planning, or inventory control.What is life like at Amatrol? :
