Lead DB2 Database Administrator

Infosys is seeking a Lead DB2 Database Administrator . This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across database technologies.

Qualifications

• Location : Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Malta, NY and be willing to relocate. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience
• At least 5 years in DB2 Database Administrator roles.
• In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to "U.S. persons" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.
• Experience in installation, configuration, patching, upgradation, migration & administration of DB2 LUW 11.1 or higher.
• Hands-on experience in HADR, DPF, Table Partitioning, Data Studio
• Knowledge of scripting languages like shell or Perl for standardization and automation.
• Experience in project life cycle activities on support and maintenance projects.
• Ability to work in a team in diverse / multiple stakeholder environment.
