Description : Social Media Specialist Location : Lowell, MI
Reports To : Brand & Media Director
Overview :
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing All-Weather Seal of West Michigan’s organic social media presence across multiple platforms. This role combines creativity, strategy, and communication to strengthen our brand, engage our audience, and showcase the quality and integrity that define our company. Key Responsibilities :
- Content Creation : Develop engaging photo, video, and graphic content that aligns with our brand voice and visual identity.
- Content Calendar Management : Plan, schedule, and maintain a consistent posting rhythm across all social channels.
- Community Engagement : Respond to comments, messages, and reviews with professionalism and empathy, reinforcing our customer-first reputation.
- Brand Representation : Interact with local pages, businesses, and community organizations to expand reach and strengthen our local brand presence.
- Content Strategy Support : Collaborate with the Brand & Media Director to brainstorm and implement fresh ideas that reflect company initiatives, events, and promotions.
- AI & Efficiency : Use AI tools to streamline content creation, research, and engagement management — ensuring both quality and efficiency.
- Analytics & Reporting : Track and analyze post performance, audience trends, and engagement metrics to guide ongoing improvements.
Qualifications :
Strong understanding of social media platforms (especially Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn).Proven experience creating compelling photo, video, and graphic content (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools).Skilled at leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Canva Magic Studio, or other automation tools) to enhance creativity and productivity.Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive — a true self-starter who can manage multiple projects independently.Passion for storytelling, visual branding, and authentic community engagement.Preferred Experience :
1–3 years in a social media or marketing role (agency or in-house).Familiarity with tools such as Loomly, Meta Business Suite, or similar scheduling and analytics platforms.Basic understanding of brand marketing and content strategy.Requirements :
